Kate Hevner Mueller Outstanding Senior Award - 2018

About Sophia Field Saliby

Sophia Field Saliby was one of a select few to receive the Kate Hevner Mueller Outstanding Senior Award. Her activities and memberships at IU included: National Honor Society; National French Honor Society; History Honors Society; Youth in Government; and marching band. She served as volunteer reporter for WFHB Community Radio and as Newsroom Intern with WTIU-TV (PBS). As Executive Producer of American Student Ratio in 2016, she created independent audio storytelling projects, coordinated events and managed social media accounts and launched a student radio show. She studied abroad in Rabat, Morocco during the spring of 2017.
