Terrence Mason is a Professor of Curriculum and Instruction in Indiana University's School of Education. During his time at Indiana University, he has served in a variety of leadership capacities within the School and the University. These include tenures as the Director of the Center for Social Studies and International Education (2004-2012), as Associate Dean of Faculties (2005-2007), Associate Vice Provost for Research (2012-2014), and as Dean of the School of Education (2016-2018). He has also served as the lead on numerous international educational efforts, such as the Afghanistan Higher Education Project, Macedonia Primary Education Project, and South Sudan Higher Education Initiative for Equity and Leadership Development.
