- Kate Hevner Mueller Outstanding Senior Award - 2019
Arón Barrera-Durán, a hyperpolygot from Kokomo, Indiana, entered the IU Kelley School of Business as a direct admit. He was one of twenty-eight incoming IU freshmen selected as a William R. Fry Scholar by the School,and was one of twenty-one seniors to receive the Kate Hevner Mueller Award in 2019. Barrera-Durán anticipates a 2019 graduation year at IU.
Professionally, Barrera-Durán worked for four months in 2017 as a Supply Chain and Logistics intern in Delphi, and in the summer of 208, he traveled to the Washington D.C. Metro area to complete an internship with the Business Advisory Consultant Program through EY (Ernst & Young). From April 2017 to the present, he has staffed the Undergraduate Consulting Workshop, and beginning in November of 2018, he began working as an incoming associate for L.E.K. Consulting located in the grater Chicagoland area.
