About Adam S. Hitchcock

Adam S. Hitchcock received a B.A. in Telecommunications and Political Science from Indiana University, and a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law. He is a member of the Dean's Council at Indiana University's Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies.

An investor and advisor with an expansive career in finance and politics, Hitchcock is Managing Partner of Patch Capital Partners, a residential real estate financial institution. He is Co-Founder of Sovereign Infrastructure Group, a multi-strategy global infrastructure investment business. Additionally, he serves as a Senior Advisor at Resolute Consulting, a national public affairs firm. A fellow and member of the Board of Advisors at the Truman National Security Project, Hitchcock serves on the Research Committee at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, and is a member of the Atlantic Council. Hitchcock worked in political campaigns and government before entering finance, including for Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley, and then serving in the Obama White House in the Office of the Chief of Staff and the Council of Economic Advisers.

Hitchcock's philanthropic work includes direct involvement with the non-profit community in Chicago, serving on the board of Urban Initiatives and leadership council of A Better Chicago. His longstanding friendship, and support, of Indiana University has been significant. In 2019, Hitchcock received IU's Bicentennial Medal, in recognition of his distinguished contributions to the university.
