- IUAA President's Award - 2019
Bill was a 1969 graduate of the Kelley School of Business. During his career, he worked as a senior vice president for various financial firms including KPMG and The Macquarie Group. He served in various IU volunteer roles for nearly three decades, first with the Kelley Alumni Network in the Metro New York area, and most recently with the Southwest Florida Chapter of the IU Alumni Association. In 2007 Bill was nominated for a three-year term to the Kelley Alumni Association Board of Directors - and his term was extended by a year to continue his service as chair of the career services committee bringing professional development and networking events to alumni in the Metro New York City area. While there, Bill served as a resource, speaker, and mentor to numerous Kelley students, always encouraging them to mentor another student down the road. When Bill retired in 2014 he relocated to Naples and immediately got busy with the Southwest Florida chapter, joining the board the very next year.
He was acting president from summer 2018 until his passing in May 2019, just weeks before he was to receive the IUAA President's Award in person.
