University Honors and Awards is an initiative by the Office of the President to identify and commemorate the achievements of those affiliated with Indiana University. This website is a public catalogue of that legacy. It is continuously updated as awards are bestowed and more information about awardees becomes available.

AAAS welcomes 2 Indiana University faculty as 2023 fellows
Two Indiana University faculty have been elected to the American Association for the Advancement of Science’s 2023 fellows class. This prestigious, lifetime honor recognizes scientists, engineers and innovators for their achievements in research, teaching and administration, as well as excellence in communicating science to the public.

Indiana University has named three faculty members as Distinguished Professors, the most prestigious appointment offered to honor faculty whose outstanding scholarship, artistic or literary distinction or other achievements have won significant recognition by peers.
Teaching and service awards honor faculty, graduate students
Indiana University is recognizing six faculty members and two doctoral students this semester for their demonstrated excellence in teaching and service. The 2024 University Teaching and Service Awards honorees represent IU Bloomington, IUPUI, IU East and IU Kokomo.
