About Dale Gettelfinger

Dale and Donna Gettelfinger’s relationship with Indiana University spans generations, beginning with Dale’s own journey through three IU degrees and extending across a large family of proud Hoosier alumni. Dale built a distinguished career as a certified public accountant, ultimately retiring as president and CEO of Monroe Shine & Co., yet his greatest joy comes from time spent with his wife, Donna, and their close‑knit family. Together, the Gettelfinger family shares a deep commitment to giving back by supporting student success, strengthening the IU community, and proudly championing Hoosier athletics. Their generosity reflects both gratitude for the education that shaped Dale’s life and a shared desire to ensure IU continues to thrive for future generations.

Dale and Donna continue to be a familiar and enthusiastic presence at IU games and events, always proud to wear the cream and crimson. We are deeply grateful for their generosity, spirit, and devotion to the university their family holds dear.
