Dr. Marc Gill’s connection to Indiana University is rooted in family and gratitude. His father was an IU alumnus who majored in business, an education that shaped his career and inspired a lasting belief in the power of opportunity through learning.
In his father’s honor, Marc and his wife, Carol, have partnered in giving back to IU by establishing the MBA Conference Fund and the Gill Family Endowed Scholarship, creating meaningful pathways for students to succeed. Carol shares Marc’s passion for supporting IU and finds special fulfillment in seeing the tangible impact their philanthropy has on students as they grow academically and prepare for future leadership.
Together, the Gills’ generosity reflects a thoughtful commitment to supporting students not only in their studies, but throughout their broader educational journey. In recognition of this dedication, the family received a Bicentennial Medal in 2020. We are grateful for Marc and Carol’s shared vision, their devotion to IU, and the lasting difference they continue to make for Hoosier students.
