As chief executive officer of the Indiana University Alumni Association, Tricia and her team are responsible for engaging the second-largest, living-alumni body in the U.S.
Tricia began her career at the IU Alumni Association in 2008 as director of alumni chapters, working with chapters and volunteer boards across the country. She later served as the IUAA’s chief of staff, before being named its senior executive director. She was appointed CEO of the IUAA in April 2022, the organization’s 12th chief executive and the first woman to hold this role.
The IUAA is responsible for Indiana University’s signature events recognizing and honoring alumni leadership and service, such as the Distinguished Alumni Service Awards and the Hine Award. In recent years, Tricia has been instrumental in developing the IUAA Student Fellows Program, which provides opportunities for deeper student engagement in the work of the IUAA and further develops future alumni leaders.
Tricia represents IU with the Council of Alumni Association Executives (CAAE) and is active with the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), where she was recognized with a Gold Award in 2013 for best volunteer program. She also participated in CASE’s Leadership Academy for Rising Advancement Stars in 2020–21. She helped establish the Women’s Philanthropy Leadership Council at IU and is active with Tri Kappa, Indiana’s premier philanthropic and service sorority supporting charity, culture, and education.
Within the local community, Tricia was named one of the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce’s “Top 10 Under 40” and serves as director of Leadership Bloomington–Monroe County. She also sits on the board of directors for Indiana’s award-winning WonderLab Museum of Science, Health, and Technology.
Tricia received a master’s degree in higher education administration from Indiana University, and a bachelor’s degree from DePauw University. A Bloomington native, she and her husband Jeff, a two-time IU graduate, have four children.
