About Allison Transmission

Allison Transmission is the world’s largest manufacturer of fully automatic transmissions for medium- and heavyduty commercial vehicles and is a leader in electric hybrid propulsion systems for city buses. Allison introduced the world’s first fully automatic transmission for commercial use over 60 years ago and is currently at work in over 100 countries, with more than seven million transmissions produced. Allison is a valued partner of the School of Engineering and Technology and we are honored to recognize it for its support.
