About Healthcare Initiatives Inc.

Healthcare Initiatives, Inc. is a private granting foundation based in Indianapolis that exists to support the advancement of human health and well-being through grants and donations to qualified nonprofit organizations. Over the years, their generous support of the School of Medicine has helped educate future physicians, accelerate medical research, advance global health, and change the lives of patients in countless ways. In 2017 they endowed the Healthcare Initiatives, Inc. Scholarship for a medical school student from Indiana. Furthermore, their philanthropy has generously helped to fund the Ike G. Batalis Memorial Scholarship, the Gastric Cancer Research Fund, the Immunotherapy Lectureship Series at the Brown Center, the Michael O. Koch Chair in Urology, Camp About Face, AMPATH, as well as multiple other areas within the Indiana University School of Medicine. The IU School of Medicine thanks Healthcare Initiatives for their generous support.
