About Indiana Latino Institute

The ILI mission is to improve health and advance education for the Indiana Latino community through statewide advocacy, research, and culturally responsive programs including the Latino Leadership Circle, college preparation, coaching, and application workshops. Each year, ILI hosts the Indiana Latino Education Summit to prepare high school students for college admission, free to all student attendees. In addition, ILI awards need- and merit-based scholarships to 15 students who show academic excellence and community service involvement. Each year, ILI provides Freshmen Employment Exploration, Internship, and Fellowship Programs as part of its workforce development plan, in addition to other initiatives too numerous to mention here.
