A certified public accountant, Mark Bradford graduated with honors from Indiana State University. Mark was with Crowe Chizek (now Crowe) from 1979 until 1990, when he joined Monroe Bank as CFO; in 1999 he became president, CEO, and director. He remained in that position until 2011, when Monroe Bank was acquired by Old National Bank (ONB). Mark was ONB’s North Central Region CEO from 2011 through August 2016 when he was promoted to Indianapolis Region CEO. He served as the Indianapolis market president and chief business development officer for ONB from 2019 until he retired in October 2022. From 2012–16, Mark was the event chair for Old National’s 100 Men Who Cook Bloomington, a fundraiser supporting the Bloomington Hospital Foundation. Then, from 2017–20, he served as the event chair for Old National’s 100 Men Who Cook Indianapolis, which benefitted various Indianapolis nonprofit organizations.
Mark also actively volunteers with a number of civic and community organizations, including the Center for Leadership Development, as a board member for the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee, Indy Public Safety Foundation, Indiana State University President’s Advisory Board, Butler Lacy School of Business Dean’s Advisory Council, and the IUPUI Board of Advisors.
