About Delta Dental Foundation

The Delta Dental Foundation has been a strong partner and friend of the School of Dentistry. For many years, the Delta Dental Foundation has provided scholarship support for D.D.S. students as well as the school’s dental hygiene and dental assisting programs. Recently, the Delta Dental Foundation established the Delta Dental Foundation Diversity Dental Student Scholarship, an annual award of $25,000 to a first year D.D.S. student. Most recently, the Delta Dental Foundation committed a $2 million gift to the School of Dentistry to establish and name the Delta Dental Special Care Clinic. This clinic will enhance the school’s ability to assist faculty and teach D.D.S. students how to care for a wide scope of special care patients while providing a dental home for the special care patient population.
