About Linda R. Brothers

The impact Linda Brothers, Ph.D., has had on the School of Health & Human Sciences (SHHS) is profound. During her tenure, Dr. Brothers served as a revered faculty member and chair of the Department of Tourism, Event, and Sport Management. After retirement, along with support from former students and colleagues, she helped establish the Linda Brothers, Ph.D. Scholarship, an award created to help top tourism students who are working in the field support their academic pursuits. Her philanthropy continued with an estate designation, which will only grow the impact of the award.
