The IU Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering at IUPUI is pleased to recognize Dr. In Sook Seo, whose endowed gift of $1 million to support information technology scholarships represents the largest gift in school history. Dr. Seo is a pathologist and professor emeritus of pathology at Indiana University, as well as an alumnus of the IU School of Medicine. She previously served as professor and director of hematopathology at Wishard Hospital (now Eskenazi Hospital). A generous supporter of Indiana University for many years, Dr. Seo has made significant contributions to the East Asian Studies Center, IU Foundation, and the Departments of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine and Dermatology preceding her gift to IUPUI. For years to come, Dr. Seo’s gift will support students pursuing the top IT positions in the country.
