About Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, Inc.

Gleaners Food Bank was founded in 1980 by a group of concerned citizens who felt strongly that no one should go hungry. Since that time, Gleaners has distributed nearly 700 million pounds of food through a network of more than 300 food pantries, soup kitchens, schools, and community partners. Leading the fight against hunger, Gleaners established a partnership with IUPUI beginning in the fall of 2022. This partnership has allowed IUPUI to receive, on average, 3,000 pounds of food for Paws’ Pantry each month. Their generosity has allowed Paws’ Pantry to expand access to nutritious food options for our students, staff, and faculty, helping to reduce food insecurity on our campus.
