About Jennifer Thompson

Jennifer and Chris Thompson are both avid Indiana University supporters and huge Indiana University fans. Jennifer received a B.A. in Criminal Justice in 1992 from IU Bloomington where was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority and a captain on the Cheerleading Squad. Chris has a B.A. in Speech from IU Southeast in New Albany, Indiana, and was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. Jennifer and Chris have a daughter, Lauren, and a son, Jake. Jennifer is an attorney at Gary C. Johnson, PSC. Chris is the owner of Critter Properties Real Estate.

Their daughter, Lauren, graduated IUPUI in December 2022 with a double major in Accounting and Supply Chain Management from the Kelley School of Business, Honors Program, and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Accounting, also at IUPUI. Lauren is the Senior Captain on the IUPUI Women’s Swimming and Diving Team, and Jennifer and Chris’ support has been instrumental in helping elevate the Jaguars Swimming and Diving program and the overall experience for those student-athletes.

Jennifer and Chris are members of the IU Alumni Association and the 1820 Society. In 2018, they were inducted into the IU President’s Circle, which honors donors who have provided financial contributions of at least $100,000. For Chris and Jennifer, it has been a great honor and privilege supporting the Indiana University programs at IUPUI, Bloomington, New Albany and across the state.
