About Joan Whitaker

Joan's IU journey began with a Bachelor of Science from the IU School of Nursing in Indianapolis. William earned a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology at the College of Arts and Science, and he went on to achieve a Doctor of Medicine as well. Their establishment of the J. William & Joan M. Whitaker Charitable Remainder Trust exemplifies their commitment to supporting academic development and nurturing talent within the university community. The Whitakers have supported over a dozen IU initiatives, their impact is truly profound.
