Andrea Singer is an associate librarian emerita in the Libraries at IU Bloomington. She received her B.A. from Kalamazoo College in 1970 and her M.L.S. from Western Michigan University in 1974. She joined IU's faculty in 1975 as an affiliate librarian of government publications and also served as the foreign documents librarian and bibliographer for India and Tibetan studies, government information and Kent Cooper services during her time at IU. In 1984, Singer received a Fulbright award to lecture in university library exchange at the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom. She retired from her position as the associate librarian of government publications and of foreign documents and India and Tibetan Studies in 2012 with the title of associate librarian emerita.
