Denise Gardiner has served as the director of finance and administration in the Office of the Vice President of International Affairs at IU since 2011. Gardiner started at IU as an assistant director of the Title VI-funded Russian and East European Institute before working for several years in the College of Arts and Sciences Dean's Office as an administrative and financial coordinator for many of the international academic units that now comprise IU's Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies. Gardiner graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in foreign service in 1993.
In 2010, Gardiner received a Fulbright award to travel to Germany as a part of the Fulbright International Education Administrators Seminars program.
