About Timothy Brothers

Timothy Brothers is an associate professor emeritus of geography in the School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI. He retired from the Department of Geography in 2015 after having served on faculty since 1985. Brothers also served as an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Earth Sciences. He received a Fulbright Award in 2010 to travel to the Dominican Republic to research a national park in the mountains of the Haitian border in peril due to deforestation. Brothers had previously spent a sabbatical semester doing research in the Dominican Republic in 1993.
