About Anne P. Massey

Anne P. Massey is the Dean's Research Professor and Professor of Information Systems at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. She received her Ph.D. in Decision Sciences & Engineering Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1991. Professor Massey's research focuses on how IS and technology can be used to support individual, group, and organizational performance. Current areas of research interest include the design and usability of online service interfaces, knowledge-intensive business processes, and collaborative work. Her work has garnered industry-based support and funding, culminating in publications in leading journals including MIS Quarterly, Academy of Management Journal, Decision Sciences, European Journal of Information Systems, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, and the Journal of Management Information Systems, among others.

Professor Massey has taught undergraduate, MBA, PhD, and executive seminar courses at Indiana University, Helsinki School of Economics and Business, North Carolina State University, and Clarkson University. Her experience includes courses on managing information risk and security, managing and leading virtual teams, and IT service management and innovation, among others. Among several teaching recognitions, she has been the recipient of IU Board of Trustee's Distinguished Teaching Award, Kelley's MBA Distinguished Faculty Teaching Excellence Award, and has been recognized as an Outstanding MBA Faculty by Business Week's Guide to the Best Business Schools. She has also been the recipient of Innovative Teaching Awards.
