About Georgia Belle Nyland

Georgia Belle Nyland was named by the Indiana State Nursing Association as Indiana's "Most Involved Nurse." During her twenty years on staff duty at the Indiana University School of Nursing, she was also highly involved in the health needs of the community, connecting those in need with the appropriate individuals or agencies. As an excellent nurse, she stood as a role model for many qualified young people who sought to join the medical profession, and other health-oriented careers.
