About Joseph O. Waymire

Joseph Oliver Waymire graduated from Indiana University in 1929. He began as an accountant and rose to the position of Vice President of Finance, participating in his company's growth and development as their operations became world-wide. Many different financial, business-related, civic and philanthropic organizations benefited from his counsel as a director.

Joseph Waymire contributed, through the growth of his career, to the building of a great Hoosier enterprise. A staunch friend of higher education, he served on the board of a sister institution, and sustained the progress of Indiana University for many years.
