Robert H. Everitt has been a devoted volunteer and dedicated friend to Indiana University for many years. An IU graduate with degrees in accounting and law, Bob is vice president and trust counsel with Marshall & Ilsley Trust Company in Indianapolis. He is a life member of the Alumni Association, he has served on its Executive Council and for more than a decade on the Woodburn Guild board of governors. He has held every office in the Indiana University Men’s Club of Indianapolis and has served the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis Alumni Association with distinction, including serving as its president and representative on the dean’s search committee. Everitt has been a member of the Indiana University School of Medicine’s Dean’s Council executive committee for more than a decade; he was a founding co-chair of the school’s Planned Giving Committee and has served as president of the school’s J.O. Ritchey Society. The IUPUI campus recognized him by awarding him the Maynard K. Hine medal and the Indiana University Alumni Association presented him with the Association’s President’s Award.
Everitt's profession and community have received such dedicated commitment as well; through a number of bank mergers and acquisitions, he served as trust legal counsel providing legal, tax, and estate planning to clients and members of the practicing bar for more than 35 years. As a member of the House of Delegates for the Indiana State Bar Association and an officer in the Indianapolis Bar Association, a former president of the Society of Indiana Pioneers and the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site he shares his passion for his profession and the history of his state. He also serves in his church, the 500 Festival, and the Washington Township Schools Foundation.
