About Roberta A. Hibbard

Dr. Hibbard, section director of the IU Child Protection Program, founded the Child Protection Team at Riley Hospital for Children in 1986. As Director of the Child Protection Programs, she has grown the program to include all of the clinical components it has today. Additionally, Dr. Hibbard has developed a number of advocacy projects that are successful including the Safe Sleep Program and the Child Advocacy Committee at Riley Hospital.

Dr. Hibbard chairs the Marion County Child Fatality Review Team, is the Director of the Pediatric Center of Hope, is a member of the Committee on Child Abuse and Neglect of the AAP, and has sat on several Indiana state commissions and task forces involving child maltreatment issues.
