About Steven B. Adams

Steven B. Adams received his B.A. from Indiana University and his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law. He is currently a Partner in the Chicago office of Tressler LLP, where he concentrates his practice in local government law, commercial real estate law, and commercial transactional law, including election law, bond issues and negotiation and dispute resolution. Mr. Adams’ practice over the last 25 years has been dedicated to serving Illinois park districts and other units of government on a wide range of legal matters including real estate and construction, public officer and employee issues, finance, contracts, litigation, and ethics issues.

He has been a frequent lecturer for organizations such as the Illinois Association of Park Districts, the Illinois Park and Recreation Association, and the National Business Institute on matters pertaining to local government law. Mr. Adams has served as a Fire and Police Commissioner for the City of Naperville and coauthored a number of articles in various publications.
