Bradley M. Stone received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1977. He then earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Physics at Indiana University in 1984. Stone did his postdoctoral research at the University of California at Irvine from 1984-1985.
Stone is a Professor of Chemical Physics and the Chair of the Department of Chemistry at San Jose State University in San Jose, California. His research includes computational fluid dynamic calculations in microfluidic devices, aerosol formation in planetary atmospheres, detection of biogenic precursor molecules in the interstellar medium, laser spectroscopy, and molecular astrophysics.
