Laurie Anne Ramsey received her B.A. in French, with a music minor, from the College of William and Mary. She then earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in French Linguistics from Indiana University.
Ramsey serves as an Associate Professor of French and French Studies at the University of the South at Sewanee. She was part of the Indiana University faculty for two years before moving to Sewanee in 1992.
