Martin Gliserman is an English professor and psychoanalyst. He completed his bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature at Colby College in 1967 and earned his doctorate from Indiana University Bloomington in 1973. Gliserman has an extensive working experience in higher education starting back in 1971 when he joined the Department of English at Rutgers University, where he remains working. Gliserman also works for the Graduate School of Education since 1999 and plans on continuing in his role. He has written and reviewed multiple articles, and published two renowned books: “Psychoanalysis, Language and The Body of the Text” and “Graphic Criticism: Semantics, Neurology and Cultural Transmission: A study of 100 Anglophone Novels”.
