Nicholas L. Baham, III received his B.A. from the University of Chicago in 1987. He then earned his M.A. from Stanford University in 1991, and his Ph.D. from Indiana University in 2003.
Baham is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Ethnic Studies at California State University. His research focuses on African American aesthetic & spirituality, African American sexuality, African American film and African American identity.
