Susan Tepping earned her Ph.D. from Indiana University in 1987, and lives in Tucker, Georgia. She is a retired Professor of Theory and Composition at the Georgia state University School of Music and teaches music theory, composition and orchestration at Agnes Scott College. She is co-founder and Director of the Four Seasons Chamber Orchestra. She is also a private music teacher and avid instrument collector.
