About Barry M. Kroll

Barry M. Kroll earned his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 1977.

At Indiana University Bloomington, Kroll serves as an Associate Professor of English. He edited the anthology, Exploring Speaking-Writing Relationships, and co-edited Exploration in the Development of Writing, which reflects his extensive interest in the development of children's writing abilities. He is also co-author of a text, Strategies for Academic Writing.
