Gary E. Dolph received his B.A. from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1968, and earned his Ph.D. from Indiana University in 1974. He serves as a Professor of Botany in the School of Arts and Sciences at Indiana University at Kokomo.
Dolph is an expert on the plant ecology of Indiana. He has also studied various Civil War topics with emphasis on the battle of Gettysburg and Civil War artillery, and is currently the Department Commander for the Sons of Union Veterans of Indiana.
