About Elisabeth M. Lucal

Elisabeth Lucal is Professor of Sociology and Anthropology at Indiana University South Bend. She earned her Ph.D. from Kent State University (1996).

She is the recipient of numerous teaching awards, including: the IUSB Distinguished Teaching Award (2004); Trustee’s Teaching Award Faculty Award from the IUSB Sociology Club (2003); Faculty of the Year Award from the IUSB Student Government Association (2003), and the Faculty Colloquium on Excellence in Teaching (FACET) (2002).
