Waldman is the author of Indiana University Kelley School of Business: The First One Hundred Years of Education for Business - 1902-2002, which he published after his retirement in 2002.
Waldman is the namesake of The Joseph M. Waldman CLD Outstanding Internship Award established in 2003.
