About Hanson H. Anderson

Hanson Hale Anderson was a scholar, teacher, and esteemed school administrator. He joined Indiana University at the beginning of the institution, and served there for almost five decades. Anderson sought continued evolution in the public schools for future generations, meeting every new challenge with forthrightness, integrity, and zeal. Standing as a symbol of unselfishness, devotion, and loyalty, students, parents and faculty admired and respected his deep commitment to the university.
