Quintin Primo is co-founder and Co-Chairman of Capri Capital L.P. He oversees the business activities of Capri Capital Advisors and co-chairs the Investment Committee. Prior to co-founding Capri in 1992, Mr. Primo was Managing Director of Q. Primo & Company, Inc., a real estate investment banking firm based in Chicago. Previously, he was Vice President and Manager of the Chicago lending team for Citicorp Real Estate, Inc., where he generated over $2.5 billion in loan financings for office, retail, industrial, hotel, and residential developments. He was also active in the securitization of commercial real estate mortgage loans.
Mr. Primo holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, with honors and high distinction, from Indiana University. Mr. Primo is a co-founder of the Real Estate Roundtable and is a board member of the Pension Real Estate Association, Urban Land Institute, and other professional organizations. He serves as a trustee of the Church Pension Group, a $6 billion plan sponsor.
Mr. Primo is active in community and civic affairs. Notably, he serves as Chairman of Primo Center for Women and Children, a first-stage transitional shelter serving the homeless of Chicago. In addition, he serves as a director of the University of Chicago hospitals and a member of the Executive Committee of the Chicago Community Trust.
