About H. William Gilmore

H. William Gilmore is a dean emeritus of the School of Dentistry, having served from 1985 to 1995. Gilmore first entered general private practice in 1958 before becoming a professor and later dean at IUSD. He also was the chairman of the committee that established the Journal of Operative Dentistry.

In retirement, Gilmore became the executive director of the Science Education Foundation of Indiana.
