Otto Sturzenberger was a dentist who practiced in the Cincinnati area. A German native, Sturzenberger emigrated to the United States in 1952 after serving in the German naval forces during WWII. Due to his German dental degree not being recognized in the United States, he then attended IU for dentistry and received his D.D.S. in 1959. Sturzenberger worked as a private dentist in Mount Washington, OH, and as a research dentist for Proctor & Gamble in the development of oral health products such as Crest toothpaste.
