About Ernest Mishler

Ernest Mishler was a dentist who practiced in Greenwood, IN. He graduated from Northwestern University School of Dentistry and served in the U.S. Army. Mishler started a general dentistry practice in Greenwood in 1953, which is continued today under his son, Jeff Mishler, an IUSD alum. The elder Mishler retired in 1991.

Mishler was known for his volunteerism, which led the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce to create the Ernest G. Mishler Community Service Award in his honor.
