About Mark Wohlford

Mark Wohlford is an oral surgeon based in Evansville. He taught oral and maxillofacial surgery at IUSD. Wohlford holds degrees from University of Iowa and Ohio State University, having completed intensive training in maxillofacial reconstruction, facial trauma, general anesthesia, bone grafting and dental implants.

He is board certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Wohlford is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Indiana Dental Association, and has served on many professional committees including chairing the Advisory Committee for Research Planning and Technology Assessment for the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Awards include the 2005 Honorary Member Award from IUSD and the 2006 Presidential Achievement Award for contributions to the specialty from the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
