Dr. Lloyd J. Hagedorn was born in Tell City, Indiana, and graduated from Indiana State University with a BS in 1961 and a MS in 1962. He received his DDS degree from the IU School of Dentistry in 1966 and his MSD in 1968. He
now practices in Fort Wayne, and he and his wife, Janet, have four children and 15 grandchildren. He is a member
of many professional organizations, including the Indiana Dental Association, of which he was president in 1999. In addition, he has been very active in the American Dental Association as a delegate and trustee. Dr. Hagedorn
also served as the chair of a fundraising campaign which generated more than $600,000 for clinic renovations in the Department of Periodontics at the School of Dentistry.
