About Philip W. Gardner

Fort Wayne dentist Dr. Phil Gardner is cited in part for his work with the IUSD Alumni Association. He served the board of directors with excellence from 1999 to 2007, including a year as president in 2005-2006.

Gardner has supported organized dentistry and the community of Fort Wayne with the same dedication that he has shown the Alumni Association. He is a past chair of the Isaac Knapp District Dental Society’s Peer Review Committee. He began practicing in Fort Wayne soon after graduating from IUSD in 1978, the same year he accepted a decades-long role on the board of directors for Dukes Day, a charitable scholarship program for students pursuing health-related majors.
