Z.G. Clevenger Award - 2010

About Paul B. Sigfusson

Following a stellar swimming career at Hinsdale Central High School in suburban Chicago, Paul Sigfusson was an All-American for the Hoosiers. A Big Ten individual champion, he helped his team to four Bit Ten titles and earned the Miles Barton Award as outstanding senior.

After competitive swimming, Paul served in leadership roles for numerous national swimming organizations, including USA Swimming. Professionally, he has practiced dentistry in Hinsdale for nearly 30 years. A life member of the IU Alumni Association and a recipient of the I Association's Z.G. Clevenger Award, Paul has been a vital resource for the Counsilman Center for the Science of Swimming since its inception in 1992.
