About Tom Bolyard

Tom won basketball letters in 1961, 1962 and 1963 and was captain in 1963. He averaged 18 points per game in his career, which ranks 10th on the all-time IU career scoring average list and ranked third in Big Ten scoring in 1963 and scored 1,299 total career points. Tom was selected All-Big Ten in 1963 and was an IU Gimbel Award Recipient in 1963. Tom was a member of the IHSAA Silver Anniversary Team and served as an assistant IU basketball coach from 1965-1971. He was inducted into the IHSAA Hall of Fame in 1992. Tom was Director of Field Services for the IU Alumni Association and Executive Secretary of the "I" Men's and " I" Women's Association.
