About Richard A. VanArsdale

Richard played basketball between 1963-65 and was co-Most Valuable Player in both 1964 and 1965 with twin brother, Tom. He was All-Big Ten and All American in 1965. Richard was Academic All-American in both 1964 and 1965 and finished his IU career with 1,240 points and 719 rebounds. He went on to successful career in the NBA and was a member of the NBA All-Star Team on three occasions.
