About Armond J. Ball

Armond J. Ball, known as "Arnie," came to IPFW in 1981 and served in various capacities in the athletic department but is best known for his success as a volleyball coach. He received degrees from Ball State University (B.S., 1967; M.A., 1970). He was the athletic director from 1988-1995.

Coach Ball is married to Sandy and has three children, including Lloy Ball, a member of the gold-medal team for the United States in men's team volleyball at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
