About Hugh Jessop

Hugh Jessop is the former Executive Director and CFO at Indiana University Health Center in Bloomington. Jessop has been in this role for 26 years, having been appointed in 1987 after serving five years as the Director of Health and Wellness Education at IU Health Center. He also worked as the Director of Sports Medicine and associate professor at Miami Dade College from 1974 to 1982. His education includes an associate's degree from Miami Dade College, a bachelor's in health from University of West Florida, a master's in health from Memphis State University, and a doctorate in health from IU. Jessop received the School of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation John R. Endwright Alumni Service Award in 2000 for his long service to the university.
